About Us

Founded by Ben Bernard in 1918, Bernard-Daniels Lumber Company has provided quality products and services to our customers for over 100 years. Originally located on Wilson Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio, the lumberyard was moved to Albert Street in Youngstown in 1928. Following a devastating fire in 1979, the business was relocated to its present address, 250 Railroad Street in Canfield, Ohio.

Located on five acres of property, Bernard-Daniels has over 103,000 square foot under roof, featuring a drive-thru lumberyard where all materials are stored under roof. A closeout warehouse is filled with thousands of closeout windows and doors. A full inventory of first quality lumber and building materials to complete any project. The store also has a large retail hardware section and showroom displaying many of the top-of-the-line products from our suppliers like Andersen Windows and Therma-Tru Doors.

Our experienced staff can assist you by recommending the right product for your project; answering your questions and helping you stay within your budget. You can always rely on quick, friendly, and professional service. Bernard-Daniels offers installation services for pole buildings, garages, windows and doors. Delivery is also available.
